Namboole High School are the champions of Straight Talk Foundation (STF) Music, Dance and Drama Competition.
They were crowned during the organisation’s 25th anniversary function at Salaama School for the Blind, Muluga, Nanfumbambi, in Mukono district on Sunday, October 7.
The function was graced by the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and several officials from the Buganda Kingdom, who included among others the Kingdom’s trade minister Mahmoud Thobani and the county chief of Kyaggwe, Alex Benjamin Kigongo.
The competition was one of the activities to commemorate 25 years of Straight Talk Foundation, which empowers the lives of young people.
In his message that was delivered for him by his Katikkiro, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi commended Straight Talk Foundation (STF) for championing development through its programmes that promote the sexual and reproductive health, education and material welfare of young people.
Prior to the visit of the Kabaka, the school was given a face-lift courtesy of the kingdom’s minister of trade, marketing and cooperatives, Mahmoud Thobani. During his visit, Kabaka Mutebi donated four Perkins Braillers to the school
